You can start with your team or people who run about the same speed as you.  At the time of registration, you can also request to be in the same wave as your friends or family.

Each person will be wearing a chip to make sure you will get your individual results when you are finished, no matter what wave you start in.

You will be given a wave start time a few days before the event.

The first wave start will be at 8:00am and will run every 15 seconds until 10:00am.

Safety & Rules

All ages are welcome at the Stadium Challenge and we encourage you to make it a family event! Backpacks are great for walking with kids that can’t do it on their own but, strollers and baby joggers are not allowed.

If you need to pass another racer – please be courteous and let them know you are “passing on the right”.

You’ll need to leave all pets at home on race day. Trained service animals are always welcome.

There will be paramedics and first responders on site in the event that you need anything.

CU Clear Bag Policy

CU’s Clear Bag Policy will be strictly enforced at Folsom Field. They allow you to bring one clear bag no bigger than 12 inches x 6 inches x 12 inches (or a one-gallon resealable clear plastic bag) into the stadium. Clear bags are the norm at athletic venues across the nation. They increase participant safety and decrease waiting time to enter stadiums.
